I enjoyed the Grand Menteng Hotel's strategic location right in front of the Transjakarta shelter, making it easy to explore Jakarta. There were food vendors nearby, providing great options until midnight. However, I found that the hotel facilities such as the fridge and hot shower were getting old and not functioning properly, and the hallways unfortunately had a constant smell of cigarettes. The noise from the hallway was also quite disruptive during the night. 😕
